Coherence
Ten weeks of coming back into rhythm, within, between and beyond.
Most of us spend our days pulled in different directions. The mind races ahead, the body lags behind, and the heart gets whatever is left over. It is no wonder so many people feel scattered, even when life looks fine from the outside.
Coherence is what happens when things begin moving together again. This season we explore it in three ways.
Breath, heart and attention falling into the same rhythm. The body has its own ways of finding steadiness, and much of the work is simply making room for them.
The quiet pull of people moving in time with one another. When a group settles into a shared rhythm, something happens that no one could create alone.
The sense of belonging to something larger than ourselves: the land, the seasons, those who came before. A longer story that holds our own.
Alongside the practices, we will step back to look at what is happening beneath the surface: how the mind, nervous system and immune system stay in constant conversation, why the heart's rhythm matters more than we once thought, and how different parts of ourselves, and different people, can come into harmony without anyone having to become less of who they are.
As always, no experience is needed. Just a willingness to notice what happens when things come back into rhythm.

Narraprana
with Mal Stephens and guests
Mal Stephens and guests open the term with Narraprana's unique blend of breath, sound and guided meditation. These three threads feature across the term as tools to cultivate coherence. Tonight we experience how they are woven together to bring our bodies, minds and souls into alignment.
Book this session →Sound and the Biofield
with Vanessa Fernandez
We are all bioenergetic beings, and we also have the ability to change the state of our biofield. As a gifted and experienced practitioner in biofield tuning, Vanessa guides us through a practice designed to cultivate coherence between our physical and bioenergetic bodies.
Book this session →Exploring Coherence
with Dr Carolina Munoz
What happens when we find greater alignment between what we think, what we feel and what we do. We explore this aspect of coherence through the emerging science of psychoneuroimmunology, which recognises that our minds, bodies and emotions are all interconnected.
Book this session →Kirtan and Coherence
with Geeti and Gyan
When humans sing, chant and breathe together, a state of coherence is created between us. This shows up in every society and tradition we know about. Kirtan is a joyful and accessible way to experience it. No vocal skills required.
Book this session →Returning to Breath
with Sue Irving
The breath is perhaps our most powerful and accessible tool when it comes to cultivating coherence. This week we deepen into breath practice to experience how intentional breathing patterns reliably shift us into more coherent states.
Book this session →Release into Sound
with Em Caunt
No season of Wisdom and Wellbeing is complete without a restful and rejuvenating sound immersion. Experiencing this practice through the lens of coherence, we discover how frequencies entrain and harmonise with mind and body, leaving us rested, balanced and whole.
Book this session →Deepening Breath
with Ankesh Chopra
A central pillar of this term is the breath. This week we return again to deepen our experience of its power, to bring us into alignment and leave us feeling relaxed, energised and coherent.
Book this session →Ceremonial Coherence
with Fabiola Barba
All known cultures developed ritual and ceremony, and with good reason. This week we experience the power of ceremony to cultivate coherence within both the individual and the group.
Book this session →Energy, Heart and Harmonics
with Kitti Luschwitz
This week we blend theory with practice to deepen our understanding of energetic and sound principles. Drawing on her broad repertoire of expertise, Kitti leads us through an experiential exploration of coherence.
Book this session →Mystery Night and End of Year Celebration
Tonight we bring the season and the year to a close with a light practice designed to bring us to a state of playful coherence with ourselves and each other.
Book this session →The rhythm was always there. We are only learning to notice it.
